Management of medical emergencies in Dental practice
On 6 Sept 2024, the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery conducted a webinar by adjunct international faculty Dr Amol Kulkarni. The topic of the session was “Medical emergencies in Dental practice”.
Dr Pradeep G L Principal, Dr Nilima Prakash- Director International Relations, and IQAC Co-Ordinator Dr Bhushan Pustake graced the occasion.This program was planned to enhance the preparedness of dental professionals for managing medical emergencies that may arise during dental procedures. By understanding the protocols and practicing effective response strategies, attendees got an opportunity to improve their ability to provide safe and efficient care. Dr. Amol Kulkarni, a renowned Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, provided critical insights and practical skills for maintaining safety and managing emergencies in dental settings.
The webinar was attended by undergraduate students, interns and staff.
