From the Desk of our HONORABLE GENERAL SECRETARY, Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir and CHAIRMAN, CDC
KBH Dental College and Hospital was established in 1991 with a vision to provide quality dental education and commitment towards community dental care. Even at this stage in the College’s development, every day represents growth, change and a new level of excitement.
Over the last two decades, we have been successful in imparting dental education to students by constantly upgrading teaching and learning facilities and equipments. Our experienced teaching faculty has an enormous role to play in the academic excellence of the students.
We have progressively upgraded every department with state-of-the-art equipments providing excellent exposure to our students. Our students have access to ICT enabled classrooms, sophisticated preclinical laboratories , Library with an exhaustive collection of books, International and National Journals and a Digital Library. Our excellent OPD provides great exposure to students to hone their clinical skills.
Year after year, our undergraduate students have performed consistently well in university examinations with over 90% results. We have an excellent track record of 100% results of postgraduate students across specialities in University exams. Our undergraduate and postgraduate students have secured the top ranks and done us proud. The exceptional performance of our students in academics is a reflection of the infrastructure provided to them
We believe in holistic development of our students and encourage them to participate in sports and other extracurricular activities. With sports facilities and coaching on campus, our students have excelled at International, National, State and Zonal level. The cultural festival organized each year by the students is another highlight of our Institution. Enhancing their emotional quotient and their sportsman spirit, the extracurricular activities add value to their progress.
Our institution has been providing quality dental treatment since its inception. Providing access to dental treatment to the lower strata of the society by ensuring free dental treatment to patients below poverty line has been our priority. We have set up two satellite clinics to improve the reach of dental health care needs. Equipped with an air- conditioned mobile dental treatment van, we also engage in various dental health camps to improve the awareness about dental health, screening and treatment of patients in the rural areas.
Raj Rajeshwari Dental College and Hospital, located in Umarda, Udaipur is the latest addition to Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir Trust. The college has excellent infrastructure with an intake of 100 BDS seats. We desire to replicate the accomplishments of this Institution.
