Annual Gathering - Chaisma 2020
The Students’ Council of MGV’s K.B.H Dental College & Hospital, Nashik organizes the Annual Gathering – CHIASMA. As per the tradition, the Annual Gathering – “CHIASMA 2020” was organized this year as well.
SPORTS:-
Chiasma 2020 began with the inauguration of the sports events on 1st February 2020. The program was held at the college grounds. Mr. Sanjay Marathe (Manager, Nashik Gymkhana) was the Chief Guest for this event. Various indoor and outdoor Outdoor sports events were held in the college campus like Cricket, Volleyball, Football, Throwball, Kabaddi, Athletics, Chess & Carrom, etc. All the students and enthusiastic staff members participated in the sports activities with great enthusiasm and sportsman spirit. Trophies and certificates were awarded to all the winners.
CULTURALS :- Opening Ceremony
After the wonderful sports week, the grand opening ceremony of the cultural events took place on the college grounds on 5th February 2020 in the evening. The cultural week begins with this ceremony. Dr. Aapoorva Hiray (Co-Ordinator, MGV) was the Guest of Honor. Dr. Manoj Chopda (Director, Magnum Heart Institute, Nashik) was the Chief Guest. The event was completely organized by the III BDS students under the guidance of the staff.
The opening ceremony was followed by the Singing Competition on the same evening. In the Singing Competition enthusiastic participants competed with each other in various categories. Next day the students competed with each other in the Dance Competition. The judge for the event was Dr. Ajay Bhanushali who judged the students under various categories & themes. The event witnessed a colorful and energetic display of various dance forms choreographed to perfection.
Fashion Show is one of the most awaited event in annual gathering week. Not just the students, the staff also participate with great enthusiasm. The entire show was choreographed by a professional choreographer. On DJ Night. The students danced to their heart’s content on their favorite music tracks. The last program of “Chiasma 2K20” is the Freshers’ Night. In the Freshers’ Competition, the 1st BDS students competed for the crown of “Mr. Fresher” and “Miss Fresher”.
All the colorful, vibrant programs are followed by The Closing Ceremony which is a formal function. A dias is set up on stage for all the dignitaries. This formally marks the end of the annual gathering Dr. Aapoorva Hiray (Co-Ordinator, MGV) was the Guest of Honor and Dr. Raj Nagarkar (Director, HCG Manavta, Nashik) was the Chief Guest. The dignitaries addressed the students and motivated them with their words of wisdom. The dignitaries presented trophies, awards, special awards to outstanding students.
