Intellectual property rights and IP management for start- ups
On 10 th Feb 2024, a workshop on Intellectual property rights and IP management for start- ups was conducted by the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and IQAC Lecture Hall 201at 9.15 am. The speaker was Dr. Amit Agrawal and he imparted knowledge on how to develop a strategic approach to IP management. Types of Intellectual Properties were described at length. The speaker gave detailed information about various types of IPRs such as patents, trademarks, copyrights, geographical indications. He gave insights into devising effective IP protection and commercialization strategies and the workshop covered a wide range of topics crucial for startup success. The program was attended by the Principal, Dean, NAAC Coordinator, Teaching staff, UG, PG Students and Interns
The Outcome of the activity was that Students and staff interested in startups were made better prepared to leverage their intellectual property assets for growth, innovation, and competitive advantage in the marketplace.
