NATIONAL ORAL MEDICINE AND RADIOLOGY DAY 2024
On the occasion of National Oral Medicine and Radiology Day on 24th April 2024,a Preventive oral health initiative programme and E- poster competition for Undergraduate and postgraduate students was organized by the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology. The event was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Pradeep GL and Head of the Department Dr.Chetan Bhadage. There was an informative presentation displaying how oral cavity serves as a reflection of systemic health, with conditions and symptoms in the mouth often indicating underlying systemic diseases. A beautiful Rangoli eloquently highlighted the day along with a poster welcomed the Dignitaries & Patients at the Department Entrance. Along with being attractive the rangoli was a medium to spread awareness among the professionals and general public. Patients were screened for oral potentially malignant disorders. Positive feedback was received from the attendees and patients as well.
