“National Periodontist Day”
On 24 th Feb 2025,Department of Periodontology celebrated “National Periodontists Day”. Various competitions such as reel competition and role play were organized in which students participated with great enthusiasm. The theme for the day was ” Stronger Gums Stronger You” The reels featured thorough oral examinations for patients, as well as education and motivation sessions on oral hygiene to engage the community. Adding to the excitement, a lively role play presentation performed by students highlighted the importance of oral health in an energetic and engaging manner. Samples of oral care products like wooden tooth brushes and tooth pastes were distributed to encourage effective dental hygiene practices.
