Oral Health Screening and Health Education Camp

On the occasion of Birthday of Honorable Dr. Apoorvabhau Hiray, Co-ordinator of Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir’s Trust, on 01-08-2025 an Oral Health Screening camp and Health Talk was organized at Shrimati Nargis Dutt Primary School, Nashik by the Department of Public Health Dentistry, MGV’S KBH Dental College and Hospital, Nashik.

The free dental checkup camp focused on screening and spreading awareness amongst the school children. Oral health services offered during the camp included dental checkup and free consultation, oral health promotion and guidance, dietary counseling and the impact of oral health on general health.

The students were made aware about the benefits of good oral hygiene and methods to achieve the same. Screening of around 150 students was done. Students with conditions like deep caries were referred to MGV's KBH Dental College and Hospital for their further treatment.
