National Oral Pathologist Day
On 25 th Feb 2025, The Department of Oral Pathology of Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir’s, Karmaveer Bhausaheb Hiray Dental College and Hospital, Panchavati, Nashik, on occasion of National Oral Pathologist Day conducted a dental check- up camp and a lecture on oral hygiene in Padsad Karna Badhir Vidyalaya in Lekha Nagar, Nashik. The camp included a comprehensive dental check- up of economically underprivileged hearing impaired students. A session on oral hygiene instructions and correct tooth brushing technique and importance of maintaining oral health was carried out. Tooth paste and tooth brushes were distributed among the students. Various activities such as model making and 3 D art competitions were conducted to inculcate creativity among the UG students. Activities like as Oral Pathology Pictionary and Dumb charades helped students to engage in mind stimulating activities. The outcome of the activity was that creativity was ignited as well as knowledge was gained through various activities. Hearing impaired students benefitted from the dental camp and received oral hygiene instructions enabling better oral health in future.
