Karmaveer Bhausaheb Hiray Dental College & Hospital, Nashik

On 20 th March 2025,IQAC conducted oral health awareness related activities for the patients and their relatives visiting dental college on the occasion of World Oral Health Day. The theme for the day was “A Happy Mouth is…A Happy Mind”.
An Oral health talk for patients and parents was delivered by intern using verbal information and a power point presentation. The presentation emphasized importance of oral health and its relation to general health and state of mind. This was a continuous activity running multiple times for the mob that was gathering in the OPD waiting area.
Pamphlets and brochures, with information about Oral Hygiene & Oral Heath Care were distributed to patient’s relatives/parents to carry the information back home and practice the advice given. The outcome of the activity was to spread awareness of maintaining oral health in day-to-day life to keep good general health.
Students and interns participated and attended community activity of oral health awareness. They prepared the matter for this talk as an academic project. This activity encouraged students presentation skills as well.
