Free Pit and Fissure Sealant Camp
A free Pit and Fissure Sealant Camp was conducted from 06/02/2024 by the Dept of Public Health Dentistry in Collaboration with Civil Hospital Nashik ,for students of NMC School No. 13, Nimani, Nashik . Interns and postgraduate students of Dept of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics and Pedodontics participated in this camp with full enthusiasm. Oral health services offered during the camp included oral health promotion, education about oral hygiene measures and screening of students. The importance of Pit and Fissure sealant application as a preventive measure for childhood dental caries was explained. Patients were referred to the Dental hospital for pit and fissure sealant application. Around 194 students from Grade I TO VIII benefited from the program.
