World Cancer Day
On World Cancer Day celebrated 5/02/2024, a “Hands-on Demonstration on Velscope” was organized by Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology in collaboration with Acumen Center for Dental Diagnostics Medicine and Research, Nashik in the institute. The speaker for the programme was Dr. Sonal Patil. The main objective was to educate attendees through Hands-on Demonstration on Velscope for screening of oral pre-cancers, cancers & other mucosal lesions. Dr. Sonal Patil elaborated the mechanism & functioning of VELscope. she provided a Hands-on Demonstration of VELscope to the faculty, PG & UG students. This CDE program was attended by - Undergraduate, Interns, Post-graduate students and staff members. All participant was enlightened & gave extremely positive feedback about CDE program.
