Alumni Mentorship Congress 4 th Edition, Session 4 (Theme: The Iridescence of Dentistry)
On 12/03/ 2024, Dr Smita Govardhane Kapadnis, alumnus of 1993-98 batch, was the speaker for the 4th Edition of the Alumni Mentorship Congress. She spoke in detail about the work being done by her through NGO Dharti Foundation which supports the education of 50 girls who lost their families to suicide in Nasik district. Dr.Smita Kapdnis spoke about developing her interest in music and her journey in completing her Visharad an MA in Music in Sitar, both with distinction along with continuing to practice dentistry. The program was attended by students, teaching and nonteaching staff. Everyone present in the audience was motivated by the session on work-life balance and social service.
