Oral Hygiene Day 2025
On 1st August Friday 2025,, Department of Periodontology celebrated “Oral Hygiene Day”.The theme for the day was “Oral health for a healthier future’’. The poster making and slogan writing competition were organized for the students to creatively express the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene.
The importance of oral hygiene and its effect on systemic health were explained to the patients. The oral health enhancing instructions including brushing and flossing were demonstrated and samples of oral care products like wooden tooth brushes and tooth paste were distributed to the patients to encourage effective oral hygiene practices. The winners of the e- poster competition and slogan writing competition were felicitated.
The objective of the activity was to foster a positive shift towards sustained oral hygiene maintenance for the patients.
