Discovering Career Opportunities in the Armed Forces

On 9 th Jan 25, Wg Cdr Dr Jimish Desai, an alumnus of our college, belonging to the batch of 2002-07 delivered lecture on ‘Your Future in Uniform: Discovering Career Opportunities in the Armed Forces’ which was organised by the Alumni Association along with the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. After completing his MDS in OMFS from MCODS, Manipal, he joined the AMC in 2013 and was seconded to the Indian Air Force in 2015. He is a board certified OMF surgeon and a certified ATLS provider.

The sole objective of the session was to motivate the students with the inspiring journeys of our alumni and provide career guidance, career choices and career direction which was followed by principal sir’s address and felicitation of the guest.

This session was attended by 3 rd year Students, Interns and staff attended the session. The students were impressed by the journey and the achievements of Dr Jimish Desai. A couple of interns who have recently finished their PG NEET were here for tips and guidance before taking the plunge.
