Har Ghar Tiranga Activity 2025
On 15th August 2025, MGV's KBH Dental College and Hospital conducted flag hoisting on the occasion of the 79th Independence Day celebration with patriotic fervour and solemnity.
To foster patriotism and national pride by encouraging every household to hoist the Indian flag, the “Har Ghar Tiranga” movement, initiated under “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, is being celebrated from 2nd August 2025 to 15th August 2025 nationwide to commemorate 79 years of Independance. Students and staff of MGV's KBH Dental College and Hospital actively participated in this activity from 2nd to 15th August 2025.
The Flag Hoisting was done by Hon. Dr. Harish Adke sir, the Vice President of MGV Trust, at 08:00 am in the college premises, who also addressed the students and staff on values of unity and progress that our country stands for. The principal Dr. Pradeep G.L. Sir, Vice Principal Dr Chetan Bhadage, Teaching faculty and non-teaching staff members, students and interns were present on the occasion.
There was patriotic songs singing , Patriotic speeches, cultural activities and singing of National anthem together. Students hoisted flag at their homes and clicked the photographs with tricolor flags.
The outcome of the activity was to encourage students and staff to display the Indian Flag at their homes, to strengthen the connection between individuals and the national symbol.
