Unlocking the Potential of Dental Graduates: Breaking Barriers and Building a Promising Career

On Wednesday, 23 April 2025, Dr Chien Ho Liao, an alumnus of our college from the (1991-96), first batch of our college visited to deliver a lecture on topic “BDS+5 Yrs =Millionaire= Possible (Unlocking the Potential of Dental Graduates: Breaking Barriers and Building a Promisin Career)”. He was an active member of IDA Jabalpur, where he held posts of secretary and president. Since 2016, he entered the film industry and since then has gained a strong foothold as lead/ primary/ supporting character in many films, TV shows, web series and commercials. He currently practices in Mumbai. Dr Chien’s session began after his introduction by Dr Meenakshi Sreeram This was followed by a brief address and felicitation of Dr Chien by Dr Pradeep G.L, Principal. The objective of the session was to provide a platform for the alumni mentors to speak about their journey and student mentees to interact, learn, imbibe and be inspired by these journeys. This session was attended by- First to Final Year Students and Interns and staff. The interaction made them realise that it is possible to balance two careers successfully, one just has to set the priorities right and stay focused.
